The Nepal Collection

The Nepal collection has items made from recycled silk. The silk yarn is hand spun in Nepal from remnant fibers that are harvested from the weaving mills in India. Our items are hand-crocheted and woven in small villages in the country. All the work involved in making this product is done in cottage industry. The family we buy from has been producing wonderful items for 30 years. Silk items can be hand washed in cold water and needs to be dried flat.
Silk Yarn. Who would have thought what would happen, when the internet pulled in a woman from Pennsylvania asking me if we could get her some silk yarn. Yes, Barbara, we can. Medium grade, 70% silk, 200 gram ball, $6 Very fine grade, 100% silk, 200 gram ball, $13.

Scarves. Spiral Scarf. On Right. The spiral scarf was our most popular last year. It's light and cool. 6' long x 6" wide. $11 

Ribbed Scarf. On Left. This one's thick. The ribs run the length of the scarf. 6 1/2' long x 6" wide. $11

Silk Hats. Regular Hat. On Left. This basic hat is very attractive and soft. It's light and free. 9" x 9". $10

Beret. On Top. It's round. It's versatile. 10" across. $10

Sun Hat. On Right. This is the heavy one. Enjoy. Beauty and warmth. 10" x 10". $11     Sizes: vary to accommodate all head sizes.
Silk Water Bottle Holder. A pretty way to make sure you always have water with you. $4.50
